I\'ve just taken over the team listed in the signature and it would appear the results are not pretty.

To be honest, I don\'t know an awful lot about Baseball - but I\'d like to make a go of this team if I can!

Any advice or whatever to help me going forward with this shower would be much appreciated!

Are you in contention? If so, we would drop some of the younger guys for great older rentals if they are available. What does your FA look like? What stats do you have? Are holds involved for guys like wheeler?

Though we need to know those things probably, for your keepers, I would put it at...

9. Wheeler (if you have holds)

You have CJ wilson on both your bench and DL so do you have someone else on the bench now?

FA, current league position and categories are what we need so get that to us and we can get to work

Rauch and Neshek are also interesting... Rauch as a closer when you have to decide might get him the nod over Milledge or even Jackson instead... Milledge has more upside. Neshek is great but being out all year will allow him to be draftable next year (this assuming you have holds. Otherwise forget him all together for a while).

Umm I really like Hudson but he won\'t be back next year so he probably isn\'t worth the top 10.

M. Lowell is an interesting one. He is better than having LaRoche on the squad for one. If he comes back strong, he could make your top 10 like he would have last year so you might as well.

You MUST grab Harang. His upside is way too high and he has been good of late. Huge for those K\'s and IP\'s usually.

That should give you a start. I\'m not sure if you need Neshek if you don\'t have holds since he is injured.

Well, you have some work on your hands but I don\'t think your team is bad at all. Guys that I think you should grab now are Hughes (great young pitcher who is almost ready to come back), Corpas (likely will be the closer next season, good stuff). As for your keepers it\'s tough. I think my 10 would be:

2. Uggla
3. Chipper
4. C. Hammels
5. D. Matsuzaka
6. J. Nathan
7. B. Wagner
8. C. Young
9. D. Young
10. Hughes
alt. M. Corpas or Milledge

But you have some time to decide that for next year.

missed Hughes... good call. Corpas doesn\'t interest me at this point for a keeper considering the options.
