Yea, I've mainly heard VAN and EDM. He'd be unreal in EDM but as an Oil fan I have virtually no expectations of seeing him in an Oil uniform.

LOL I hear ya dude, Die hard oil fan here too and I am totally on the same page.
I have read a fair bit about this kid though and from what I have read it does seem like the oil are his top choice. There are a few factors that he bases his decision on, one yes he does want to play in a Canadian city, 2 he was an oiler fan growing up, 3 he wants to play now and play a lot of minutes.
I can think of very few teams that will be able to offer him as much as the oilers on all of the fronts, especially the playing time. not too many teams have a worse defensive group then the oil and if they do it’s the blue jackets and nobody wants to go there.
I'm crossing my fingers but one thing is as close to 100% as it can be, we'll know on July 1st for sure, he will not be a Duck. I want the Oil to trade for his rights before the free agent market opens up. Best part is too, for whomever get him, he still will be on an entry level contract! To get a top pairing Dman for under a mil, talk about a steel.

Good thing is you don't have to wait until July 1st like the other free agents. Since he has not signed with Anaheim, he basically becomes a colleg free agent and therefore is free on June 1st. That could make the draft a little more interesting.
