Nucks in 6
Canucks in 6. A hobbled Carter, ineffective Richards. Kings better hope Quick keeps them in this.

Pollingggggggggggg
Canucks in 6 games. Even as the President's Trophy winner, I think they're flying under the radar so far.
Put down the Haterade. Vancouver will smoke the Kings in 5.

My team: ???
What does everyone think about the fact that the canucks are the only team from their division that made the playoffs? Since teams from the same division play each other more often, doesn't that suggest their record might be "inflated"?
Whereas a team like St. Louis, who is the top of the central division, had to play more games against more playoff teams (Redwings, blackhawks, and preds).
Thoughts?

Good point. It would be interesting to see their record against their divisional opponents though.

18-5-1.
You definitely can't argue that they didn't benefit from a strong divisional record but whether it is because their divisional opponents were weaker or because the team got up for those games more is something that you can't tangibly argue. Maybe with a more balanced schedule the Canucks don't win the President's Trophy but what's clear is they are still an elite team and I wouldn't knock them for beating up on weaker opponents. You could even argue that beating up on weaker teams has kept them well rested for playoffs.
Awesome...thanks for your input!
