    Default Replacing Rask

... or at least 'attempting' to replace him.

Obviously with Crawford's struggles and Rask now going down for an extended period of time, I need a third option to go with Luongo and Crawford.

Curious to know peoples thoughts on these options:

    Garon
    Biron
    Roloson
    S Mason
    Bobrovsky
    Clemmensen
    Hackett
    C Mason
    Bachman
    Bernier
    Greiss
    Nilsson
    Enroth
    Lindback
    Khabibulin

As much as anything it's about starts. With Crawford on the bench at the moment, I need to actually make sure I can hit the three starts required per week.

Also, to add to the question, who would you drop to add a goaltender? I can't really wait for Rask to hit the IR.

My first choice would be to go with Garon. He's been solid lately with four straight wins and six in his last seven starts. Hackett could also see some time after Harding failing big time over the weekend, but Id wait to see who is starting today for the Wild. Other than that you're dealing with backups.

Even though it leaves you with only three C, Id drop Jokinen.

Agreed with Garon. He has been out playing Roloson and so I would say he is as close to a starter as it gets.

I am in the exact same boat as you. However, now that Garon is injured I gambled on S. Mason as my third goalie, starting him wisely (not every game). He is available in almost every league and he's been hot his last 3 games. Worth the try eh?
