    Default Tavares for Eberle...?

15 team keeper league...I am strong down the middle, but my wings are lacking...so in the traditional 'deal from your strength' position, I have an opportunity to pickup Jordan Eberle, but it will cost me Johnny T. With Getzlaf, Carter and M. Koivu, I can part with a C, but like Eberle, Tavares, is just scratching the surface of his potential...That said, I like Eberle's situation in Edmonton much better, and surrounded by Hall, and RNH, I feel his ceiling is very high, whereas Tavares has to manufacture most everything on the Island.

Should I be asking for more in return? What would you add?

What are the stats used in the league? Full keeper? How many teams?

I would not trade Tavares for Eberle. I'd rather trade Getzlaf or Koivu for a lesser skilled RW than Eberle.

Tavares is too good, and has too high a ceiling to be traded IMO. If you trade him now you're selling low.

IMO right now Tavares is worth more then Eberle! I feel that situational yes Eberle is in a better spot, but Tavares is a one man team, a game changer. Look for him to hit the upper level of players next season!

Tavares has a way higher ceiling than Eberle.

Eberle is also shooting at 20% this year...can he repeat that...not likely.

Its a 15 team keeper, with goals, assists, +/-, and PIMS.

Tavaris is worth so much more. You would have to get another incredubke player from him. Personalky, i wouldn't be trading JT. You do and you'll be crying when he's out-pointing Eberle on the regular.

I wouldn't deal JT for Eberle. I would be hesitant to deal JT period unless you can land Eberle ++ (something like Eberle + Duchene or along those lines).

This trade happened in my league in the off season. Points only, salary cap.

    Ennis, Tyler /Setoguchi, Devin
    FOR
    Eberle, Jordan/Greene, Andy

When I asked about Eberle last week the GM wanted Tavares and a first round pick (first overall). Eberle's stock has risen substantially over the year.

    I quickly declined!

Sure Eberle is a great player with his attractive salary and great line mates but Tavares is clicking with Moulson and Parenteau and I think will continue to do so for the remainder of the year and next year.
