The rules in nhl wont allow a Junior to come up unless Its an emergency

I have not seen anything \"official\" on this. It is funny because I asked a friend about this last night and what the deal is with bringing up a player from juniors. The only thing I saw saying he was coming up looked to be a blog, nothing with quotes or something from the Homer\'s mouth. Flyers official website has reported nothing to this effect.

I think they wanted to add Giroux so as to not further deplete the Phantoms. Call ups Downie and Tolpeko being injured affect their roster the most (top 6 ahl players), also Parent and Ruzicka are up now (two more core ahl players). Time to call up Tristan Grant or Boulerice and make em happy for saying no to us That and if we bring up any more skill players the Phantoms will be nothing but D, ha! I mean Lasse Kukkonen played forward last night. And you\'re telling me that is not an emergency situation? Watch closely, until you see something on Philly.com or the Flyers website, don\'t believe it (or from Dobs himself )


I will go forward to thank the flyers for being one of the awesomest hockey team sites. They have made a big effort to keep everything up to date on their site. I can\'t imagine Clarkey ever blogging but Homer does from time to time.

Ekelund may be a flyers fan but is no way affiliated with the organization. He has the same weight, as say me or flyers9327 throwing out a bunch of crap against the wall and seeing what sticks. I think Ek is entertaining and good for hockey in that he gets people talking about it. Bad in that what he says is more often than not based on heresay and rumor, which when it comes down to it, is always just that.
