Fantasy Baseball: Early Planning
For anybody interested in Fantasy Baseball this year, I've created the following H2H pool for the DobberHockey crowd:

Categories: Probably 5x5. Hitters: H,R,HR,AVG,SB. Pitchers: W,K,ERA,WHIP,SV

Tentative Draft Date:
March 26th (MON Night), 8:45pm Eastern.
(Baseball Games start Wednesday in Japan)

hey Pengwin it was fun for a bit last year but the Roto scoring made it boring eventually (Id never done Roto leagues before only H2H leagues). I would maybe be interested agin this year depending on the format ... or if someone wanted to share the responsiblites for a team I could do that .... anyways keep me posted. Cheers

What is the required commitment level? I want to get back into Fantasy Baseball (its been like five years for me) but my summer job has this nasty habitat of making me incommunicado for weeks at a time. If the setup is such that I can set my lineups and basically let it ride then I am down.
Roto is not boring.
md26 - Commit level is low. I really don't care too much... it's a fun league... I'm fine with teams setting their best players and leaving it. (But I do hate it when somebody sets a daily line-up and doesn't return their best players to their starting spots. If I see Justin Verlander or Roy Halladay on somebody's bench... I'm going to comish-move that player back to the starting line-up!!!)
hf - I should have an asterik! LOL. (*Roto is boring when the commit level is allowed to be low.)

If we could discuss an alternate draft date that would be appreciated. I have basketball on Tuesdays as well as my articles here due for the next day so it's a busy day for me.
I too am unavailable on Tuesdays...playoff hockey night. I'm good Monday, Wednesday that week. Taking off that Friday for tourney in the states...so Thursday doable but wife and kids may like to spend some time before I go. If problem, I can get a stand in. Thanks
