If this was a smaller league, I'd take Malkin. If it was a larger league (more teams) requiring a lot of depth, I would take Tavares + friends. Deeper leagues require a lot more depth which in most cases end up being the defining factor. Malkin might outscore Tavares by 20pts in an ideal year but the chance of having 3 elite prospects will more than offset that if any one of them becomes good.

This is tough man. I don't know dumba and smith all that much so I will exclude them from my thoughts.
I own JT, Malkin AND Yakupov. I would not trade Tavares and Yakupov for Malkin...Its close and a super tough choice but I see JT just a step below Malkin and well Yakupov has had as much hype as anyone.

Way too much upside to pass up on here... factor in Malkin's bum knee and this an easy choice in my opinion.
That's a tough call... agree with most of the others that this is a very even trade. Proven vs. potential.
If I'm contending now or next year, I keep malkin. Tavares is great, but hasn't done what Malkin has in the past. Yakupov is unproven at the NHL level.
If I'm rebuilding, I think this is a great deal for the future.
Tough call...
Personally, I think I'd keep Malkin, but it depends on how you're contending now.
