I have a guy shopping for Bouwmeester from me and seems willing to part with Kiprusoff (not straight up but these are the two key guys each have interest in). Question is, is Kiprusoff that much better than Turco who at this point would be my keeper at Goalie. Trading Bouwmeester leaves me with not much at DEF but it feels like that might be easier to fill than Goalie. Just want to know if the difference between Kiprusoff and Turco is marginal or is it a good upgrade. Goalie stats are GAA, Total Saves, Goalie points (win=2, OTL=1, shO=2)

Note, this isnt for this year, just trying to set up my keepers for next year.

I have been a little luke warm on Kiprusoff lately. I just recently traded him in my keeper league. If you look at his career stats you will notice a steady decline in his save percentage and shutouts over the past three years. Granted he is playing much better over the past month and he is racking up the wins. If your keeper league does not take into account player salaries then I think Kiprusoff holds more value then Boumeester. But be cautious he just signed a 6 year 35 million dollar deal... some players tend to lose focus on their game when they recently sign a big contract.

How does Kiprusoff compare to Turco? I often see him ranked in the top 5 but I dont see his stats saying he\'s elite or even that much better than Turco. I\'m wondering if it would really be an upgrade.
