Here's an article with quotes from JVR a couple of days ago. It doesn't say if he's practicing or not, but has some quotes from him which indicate that his progress is slow.

Also, I just read this on rotoworld:
"James van Riemsdyk didn't participate in Thursday's morning skate despite speculation that might return from his concussion. Harry Zolnierczyk was sent down to the minors on Wednesday, which led to thoughts that van Riemsdyk could be ready but that doesn't appear to be the case."

Meanwhile he's tweeting how he's picking up his new Audi A7 and can't wait to take it for a spin. I'm sick of hearing how these "concussions" are so devastating yet everything is happy go lucky on the social media front. The minute JVR heard about the rampant trade rumors, he was suddenly out with a terrible concussion. I'm a die-hard Flyers fan and JVR fan to boot but call me skeptical. Spoiled and entitled? haha... so funny. He's rich, and enjoying his money that his boss paid to him for skill that brings in a ton of revenue. If you mean that he feels entitled to the money that has already been given to him, then yeah, I sure hope he does. Dont' you feel entitled to your pay cheque? Your comments make as much sense as JvR being in a fog, not able to play, but able to drive. Yeah, that's a good look on his safety and well-being, not to mention that of others. But it's all good because he's young and rich. What was i thinking?
