NHL 12 Achievements
Since we normally keep video game chat in here, that's where Im putting this convo regardless of it being a hockey game.
Im by no means an achievement hound on xbox, but I always like hearing that little sound and have a new one pop up unexpectedly, so I can't say I dislike them. Does anyone else have a problem with the fact that like 90% of NHL 12's achievemnts are for online or Be a Pro things? Do they even give a f*ck about their franchise mode or how many hours we put into it?
I mean seriously.....who's going to match Gretzky's stats with their Be A Pro......especially when you can't even change the game time.
I don't care if every achievement is worth 5 points, just give us franchise lovers something!
I'm gonna beat Gretzky's 50 in 39and probably all his other 1-year stats, as far as career goes though doubtful.. lol. Seeing 3rd line minutes on NJD (#1 overall pick) i got like 19 goals in 8 games before they bumped me to 2nd line minutes and PP time. They took me off SH time though so idk how I can beat the SHG record anymore.

Yeah, this year's achievements are stupid and boring. Last year's was the best so far in terms of mix and stuff to play for.

Yeah lots of questionable things going on with this series, yet I still keep on buying haha
Also, the ability to make smaller tournaments. I hate it that you have to have at least 8 teams in a "world tournament". What if I just want to have four or five friends over and we want a basic tournament option without having to use international rules/rinks and use a bunch of dummy teams?

my ps3 is not reading my NHL12 disk anymore. I don't know if its just the disk or since the ps3 is so old(the big original one) because the only games I buy are the NHL ones
How about tiered online play? Maybe lobby rooms with different skill levels? It's pretty frustrating playing people that are on the game 24/7 (seems like it anyways) when you aren't that great :P Not much fun getting destroyed every game...occassionaly I can ride the coat-tails when I have one of these guys on my team (EASHL).
(Haven't played it in months actually, been playing games like Arkham City, Dead Space 2 and Crysis 2...Arkham City kicked ass, btw)

Arkham City KICKS ass. From the fighting mechanics, to graphics, to story, to extra things to do......GREAT game.
I know I keep harping on franchise mode, but how about a way to scout prospects better! I mean Ive snagged the 1st overall pick two straight years and I have no idea who to take; and when I make a choice, they're a B and potential all the way down.
Same here, last game i played was Killzone 3, and then popped back in FFXIII for a few hours so I could get back into the swing of things before FFXIII-2 gets released. (Jan 31st already pre-ordered)
