This whole Mike Green recurring injury situation is becoming a really bad soap-opera. Waiting for this guy to get healthy must be like Crosby-level frustrating.

He was hurt from late October until early January without the Caps fulfilling our fantasy needs and putting him on the IR. don't see it happening now

Not at all surprising. It sounded like the guy was in no condition to be playing in the first place, with all these reports of him visibly limping.

Concussed people don't exactly walk normally either.

But seriously, how does one mess up the order of events that bad? What kind of deduction skills do you have if you think "yes, it's logical that he limped after months of being out and was just about to start playing again. it's not logical that he was seen limping AFTER he re-aggravated the groin when the team's beat writer reported exactly that."

How does one manage to mix things up like that? I mean, it's beyond intellectual laziness.

You only think I guessed wrong! That's what's so funny! I switched glasses when your back was turned! Ha ha! You fool! You fell victim to one of the classic blunders - The most famous of which is "never get involved in a land war in Asia" - but only slightly less well-known is this: "Never go against a Sicilian when death is on the line"! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Ha ha ha...

Not to defend anyone here, but Pronger had a virus, which shot to his knee for surgery and then back to his head resulting in a severe concussion.

    That is one impressive concussion

Seriously this concussion issue is getting out of hand. Not to be unsimpathetic, but why so many this year (in the last year of the CBA). Makes you wonder

I don't think it has anything to do with the CBA. I think it has everything to do with the fact that they now know how to report and diagnose these injuries properly, whereas in prior years i think guys just missed games with "the flu" or "illness" and popped an excedrin before heading out after a day or two off.

Kris Letang also went from the flu to a concussion. I usually get the flu on average once per year. Could it be that I've had 25 concussions in my lifetime?
