Default E.Staal and Edler for Benn and Green

Worth it, or just a lateral move? (I would be getting the Benn side)

    team/league in sig.

    Thanks.

I have 3 of them (Staal, Edler, Benn) on my team.

For this season think its equivalent. Benn>Staal and Edler > Green.

Think Benn and Staal are similar for future, while Edler is safer keeper but Green higher upside/risk

I would take the Benn side. Green is looking to come back soon and Benn is just simply better than Staal in all cats with a better support cast. Staal is just simply in a terrible situation right now. If you are looking for longterm then it would still be the Benn side cuz he is still a developing star and with Green that's just win right there. Staal will bounce back tho as he is a proven 60+ point consistent scorer. I still choose Benn

Funny, I just saw another thread with E. Staal and Edler for Benn and Streit .

I think it boils down to Green. If you think Green is going to light things up once he's back I like that side better. If you are looking for more consistency then I would take the Staal / Edler side.

High risk, high reward type move, but I'd probably roll the dice and go for it since Green could be a difference maker if he can play like he did previously.

haha, yeah I wasn't getting much feedback from this so I posted the counter offer the other GM made me in the other post.

I also like this deal better, but I'm a little hesitant with the risks associated with Green. I'll try and re-offer this again.

    Cheers!

I like the Benn/E Staal side here but it's bit riskier - Staal is more proven than Benn and Green has ridiculous talent but his injuries are getting ridiculous.

However, I'd do it without too much hesitation.

I would keep Edler over Green, less risk and he is in a great situation.
I really like Benn but you are really trading Edler and Staal for Benn as Green value is so low right and you can really only count on him for half a season if your lucky.

Staal had a great night last night and may well be rounding the corner here.

I'm going to go against the grain here..

I like Staal and Edler over Benn and Green, although I think this is a pretty even trade. Depends what stats you are wanting.

    I don't agree with Benn > Staal
I think they're even in your scoring format. Staal is still among the league leaders in SOG.. Yeah his +/- sucks, but I think in time, that it will go down (or up, whichever way you're thinking about it.. It will get 'more positive' is what I'm trying to say)

I also think Edler = Green. Edler is still improving, and with HITS in your league, Edler is a beast for that, plus he's on the top PP unit with the Sedins and Kesler, plays the most minutes of the Canucks D or is among them night in and night out.
Green is good... we think. He had the one great year and another good year, but has barely played the last 2 years.
