He's been the big beneficiary of Letang's absence. 5 points in his last 6 is a nice surprise.
I haven't seen the games. How has he looked? I almost bailed on him heading into this season, but he's been roster-able in our league.

Niskanen has been solid this year - playing like top-4 D-man. He's the second best offensive option Pens have on their D and unfortunately due to Letang being concussed, Niskanen will get a prime chance to produce. Luckily he's responsed well so far but I wouldn't carry too high expectations on him. He'll give you about 25-30 points this year so in deeper leagues that's somewhat valuable from a depth D-man.
Niskanen has been very nice surprise this year and improved greatly from last season. Not bad for a throw in/salary dump from the Neal/Goligoski deal.
