I am willing to bet that I am the only one that took Sundstrom and/or Rakell

Thanks, I definitely did more research this time around and I discovered a few potential gems. Tried to find as many reliable players as I could.

    DY's Team:

    CPT - Mikael Granlund

F1 - Gallagher (CAN) - Don Hay will give him plenty of ice time.
F2 - Charlie Coyle (USA) - I flip flopped between him, Bartschi and Girgensons
F3 - Huberdeau (CAN) - a must have for me. As good as most Captain options
    F4 - Pulkkinen (FIN)
    F5 - Bjugstad (USA)
F6 - Donskoi (FIN) - my one sleeper on forward. He's played well in international play
    F7 - Grigorenko (RUS)
    F8 - Yakupov (RUS)
    F9 - Kucherov (RUS)
    F10 - Johan Larsson (SWE)
    F11 - Filip Forsberg (SWE)
    F12 - Brandon Saad (USA)

    D1 - Dougie Hamilton (CAN)
    D2 - Nathan Beaulieu (CAN)
    D3 - Adam Clendening (USA)
D4 - Mattias Backman (SWE) - underrated Swede
D5 - Rasmus Ristolainen (FIN) - longshot but with Maatta out I like his chances better (very young tho)
    D6 - Ivan Telegin (RUS)

    G1 - Jack Campbell (USA)
G2 - Johan Gustafsson (SWE) - swapped him in last minute for Visentin. I needed a G that other teams were less likely to take.

I took a lot of '12 players as I really want to cheer for them. Should be interesting.
Wow, you really did take a lot of 2012 guys.
    Best of luck.

I took 3 2012 draft eligibles (Yakupov, Grigorenko and Forsberg) and one 2013 draft eligible (Rasmus) so not really "a lot" haha. You yourself have 3 2012 draftees haha. Duhhhhh

All of Yakupov, Grigorenko, Forsberg and Rasmus will play important minutes for their countries.

I'm on the board here too, it seems, I went with Huberdeau, Stone, D Hamilton, Visentin and Scheifele from Canada. 10 from the forwards, + whatever we get for the goalie wins. Not a bad start, although I would like to see a bit more out of my two Finns and Scheifele.

I've got Rakell but not Sundstrom. I really like your team, pretty much all of your players expect for Miller and Nesterov were on my short list when I was putting my team together

Ps What's the word on Maatta? I couldn't watch the game today, is it a tourny ending injury?

I could of sworn more were 2012 draft eligibles, but maybe that's because I've never heard of them haha.

    I wouldn't regret Brodin. He's looked well.

Johan Larsson has left the game with an injury (DAMN) already and it appears Olli Maatta has a concussion (for those who took him). Plus, Devante Smith-Pelly will miss some time as he left on crutches
