    Default Lehtonen or Crawford?

Who'd you rather own in a keeper?

Keep in mind, I have Emery for short term insurance if I land Crawford.

I'd rather have Lehtonen but I suppose in your situation and also given your stat cats that it might be a better idea to hang onto Crawford to guarantee all of Chicagos starts.

I would rather own Lehtonen in a keeper.

Lehtonen + Bachman > Crawford + Emery in most formats. But given the fact that your format ignores percentages, I think Chicago will help you more. Lehtonen is an excellent goaltender, but he's also extremely prone to injury.

I'd much rather have Kari Lehtonen. I was curious at the beginning of the season why he was playing so well. I read that he really straightened out his career once he was dealt to Dallas. He always had the skills, but he wasn't taking care of his body or training hard enough. His nutrition was poor and he ate fast food quite a bit, but that all changed and he's becoming the goalie that Atlanta (now Winnipeg of course) envisioned when they drafted him. Whereas Corey Crawford has looked awful in the games I've seen him, the only exception is in the shootout. He seems to really know what he's doing there. Crawford has Emery and Salak to worry about in Chicago as well. Crawford was handed the opportunity to start last year and to his credit, he really took advantage of it. I haven't seen the same goalie this year at all.

    I hope that helps.
