I think he means he hired one of the current female Assistant GMs before hiring Allvin. I believe that was the case but not gonna bother fact checking. JR probably knew Allvin was on his way though at that time.
Dubas may conclude the best course of action is to just not hire a GM hahaha

Potential late round sleeper pick in this year's fantasy drafts has signed a new contract for next year. League minimum 2 way deal for Valterri Puustinen. He led WBS Penguins in scoring again last year and had a few games with Crosby in pre-season last year. There's a non-zero chance that he gets an opportunity in the top 6 to start next season.

Granlund finished the year playing mostly 3rd/4th lines. Zucker was their 2nd line LWer while Guentzel and Rust played with Crosby to finish the season. Who knows what will happen next season but Puustinen has a chance to crack the top 6 and could shine if given a shot. Hence why he could be a great late round sleeper pick.
