I think Kaberle will definitely help his production out, at least in terms of the PP. It's painfully obvious at this point that Subban can't QB a Powerplay on his own, and he was unable to effectively distribute the puck w/ the man advantage. It seems to me like Subban is more of a shoot-first type player, and on the PP that doesn't really gel when he was being looked at for puck moving.
I think w/ Kaberle you get that elite puck movement with the man advantage. You will see more of Subban getting good looks at the net due to Kaberle's vision and ability to make great passes all over the ice. I feel pretty good about Kaberle in Montreal, as he won't really be looked at as a top-4 defenseman. He should be in a minimal pressure scenario, and his production on the PP should benefit from this; all these things only help Subban by extension, as Kaberle's puck distribution will put Subban in more scoring scenarios.
I'm not sure if this will put Subban over the top, in terms of getting him on track for a 45+ point season, but I do think it will provide a decent spike [maybe not in the short term] in his production from the addition of Kaberle.
