    Default Drop Goligoski for Kaberle???

    Points only.
I've been hoding onto Goligoski thourought his injury for lack of anything better on the waiver-wire.

Kaberle is available... If they were both healthy, i think Goligoski is better, but considering Goligoski's injury, should i make a move??

I'd rather go down swinging with Goli rather than Kaberle. Take away yesterday's game and I don't think you'd consider it, would you?

Goli is back in action after the injury so that's no longer a reason to make the move. It comes down to a couple of considerations when I put myself in your shoes. One is I'm assuming this is for the team in your sig. If that's correct, then it appears that you've used 2 of your six allotted waiver wire moves. I don't necessarily think it would be bad to use another move here, but with so few to use over the course of the season you want to make sure each one counts.

That leads to my next thought which is Kaberle's recent hot hand. He has 6pts over his last three games including the last two with the Canes prior to the trade. I'd have to ask myself if I really thought that marked a return to his Leafs level of production or if it's just a blip on the radar. He does have the track record. I agree that overall I prefer Goli, but you shouldn't completely overlook Kaberle's current production. The question becomes, is this a sign of Kaberle's resurgence? I'm not completely sold that it is though I wouldn't rule it out.

In the end I think I would continue to hold onto Goli. I look at their situations and respective talents and I think from here to the end of the season it should be close to a push. If you've stuck with Goli this long I would continue to do so. Goli should come around as long as he stays healthy and keeps getting the TOI and opportunities he has to date.

I think you have to wait a bit. It's only been one game for Kabs. If he really seems to be gelling, is getting good PP time and getting chances, then that might be something to jump on. I would still keep Gogo though, how would you feel about dropping Read instead?

What has Goligoski done this year? Go grab Kaberle. I'm betting Robidas is probably still available to pick up in your league as well incase someone does pick up Goligoski which I highly doubt anyone would.

I've been considering the move ever since Goligoski got hurt!

As a Habs fan, it's nice to have a Habs player, but the fact that he has history both with the Leafs AND the Bruins kinda nullifies that aspect.

Basically, Both players have been playing sub-par this season and have similar upsides the way I see it. I'll give Goligoski another game or 2 to pick it up!
