Claude Giroux is missing from Flyers practice Monday. No surprise there, not after the hit he took to the back of the head during Saturday’s game.
It also won’t be a surprise if Giroux, the NHL’s scoring leader, misses the Flyers’ next two games – Tuesday in Washington and Wednesday in Montreal.
The Flyers reported that Giroux was “feeling better” on Sunday and won’t be reevaluated on Monday, but thus far there have been no updates.
Giroux was injured late in the second period on Saturday when he was struck in the head by teammate Wayne Simmonds, who tried to jump out of the way and caught him with his knee
