    This does make sense. I get that feeling whenever I get knocked wround now too. It's part of living after a concussion. Two days would be fine, but when you have hockey's version of Christ signed long term, why not be cautious?
    Limited Keeper - Keep 5
    Auction draft with a budget of $600. Whatever is left becomes your acquisition budget for the season. At the end of the season 50% of your budget is carried over to the next year.
    Keeper players are taxed +$10 for forwards with over 75 pts. +$5 for forwards under 74pts. +$0 for forwards under 50pts.
    D = +$10 for 65pts +$5 for under 64pts +$0 under 40
    G = +$10 for 32W +$5 for under 31W & +$0 under 15W

    looks like he might be out more than 2 games, but not because of his head or anything like that

    a couple of sources on twitter, so won't elaborate too much. They just say he has bother injury, most likely the knee.

    one is Josh Rimer

    Been told by 2 sources Crosby may have other injury as well.

    I could swear that when Crosby and his doctors held their big press conference over the summer they said that once he returns, he won't be more likely to have another concussion than any other player, ie one is not more concussion-prone after you have had one. Clearly, that doesn't seem to be the case.

    Oh perfect. Thanks for the update nonetheless! I think this might actually bode well for the status of his head injury, considering that this information makes it more reasonable to assume that his time off is a result of a variety of things (fatigue, collision with Kunitz, etc) as opposed to just the elbow to the dome and the subsequent headache.

    Thanks for the update, rep given!

    The Good news with Sidney Crosby is that it's believed his head is fine.

    This is what I was trying to support in the first part of my post above ( but see http://www.exra.org/Concussion%20risk-2003.htm, although that study was specifically in football). However if the player still has the first concussion (which is in itself hard to define), getting another concussion injury would be much more dangerous.https://www.savirweb.org/assets/341_ipfebruary2011.pdf
