Maxim Afinogenov could return to the lineup this weekend.

Afinogenov had a setback to his groin injury in practice on Monday and has been held off the ice since. He will be re-evaluated on Thursday with the hopes of skating in practice. While Friday\'s game against Boston may be too optimistic, Sunday\'s tilt against the Panthers is a viable option. Stay tuned for further updates.

It isn\'t looking great for this week as he had a set back on Monday in practice and basically quit practicing - I think he has been for all practical purposes moved from day to day to week to week.

I lost access to my favorite injury site - somehow the link got pirated by rotoworld - so my injury info isn\'t nearly as good as it once was.

edit: ahh miked got here first - I think he is right but a torn groin can sure linger so I would not go to the bank on Max\'s return
