I don't expect Orlov to get a serious taste unless the Caps are hit with some big injuries. The Caps are enamored with this team "defensive" scheme and the last thing they need is to add a riverboat gambler to loves to run-and-gun. I see Orlov as an eventual Wideman/Green replacement down the line but don't see him being tossed into the fire unless absolutely needed. As an Orlov owner though, I'm willing to be patient and see if I strike gold with him in 2-3 years.

I agree I don;t think he'll get any real time up this year, but I defiantly think he'll get a taste at some point. maybe just a couple games to reward him for his camp. Someone is bound to get injured at some point. But I agree no real production till at least next year maybe/probably longer...

Yea, dominate no different than Voynov did when he got the call up. WSH, unlike LA, is a joke right now but if they give him PP1 time he will produce with it and very likely depending on how well he does and the maturity level he showcases in his stint/NHL readiness (both offensively and defensively) could put the nail in the coffin on Green in WSH for good. Make the pull if still available.

Ya he's a better keeper then 1/2 your team. But you stated earlier you were in contention I think and there's a real possibility he doesn't stick yet...
I would suggest giving it like 5 games see if it looks like he is going to stick. Then grab him if he does. I don't think he'll get snapped up right away ,he is under the radar a little...
