Do NOT drop Gaborik for Pominville.
How many teams are in your league, and who else in on your roster? I can't imagine a league small enough where Richards and Staal should be free agents.
Hey Everyone,
I have Gaborik right now, and am thinking about dropping him for Pominville. Some other players available are Brad Richards, Eric Staal, Jason Spezza, Kris Versteeg, Tomas Plekanec. Staal is tempting, but who knows when he will get back on track. Pominville is the most attractive option to me - but I want to hear your thoughts. Scoring is G, A, PIM, PPP, SHP, GWG. Thanks!!

hey committed,
i posted a few days ago re: keith for ehrhoff and you said the same thing! haha. it is a small league (7 teams). of the 7 teams, only 4 are really committed to the league. i am in a different league that is much more competitive. anyways, the rest of my team looks like this:
F- Lecavalier
F- Marleau
F- Eriksson
F- Sharp
F- Stamkos
F- H. Sedin
D- Green
D- Yandle
D- Keith
D- Karlsson
Bench - F - Vanek
Bench - F - Gaborik
Bench - F/D - Byfuglien
G - Crawford
G - Miller
G - Khabibulin
i'm weakest in net, but not many options available (zero really). thanks for your help once again!
justin.
Keep Gaborik. If anything, try trading Gaborik fro goaltending help. Gaborik's ceiling is much higher than Pommy.
8 Team League. 15 forwards, 5 defense and 3 goalies. States (with roto weights) G (2), A(2), PIM, Shots, +/-, GAA, W, Save Pct (0.5), SO (0.5).
Team:
F: Malkin, Spezza, Tavarez, Alfredsson, Doan, Neil, Michalek, Lecavalier, Okposo, M. Richards, Heatly, Perry, Selanne, Michalek, Perron
D: Karlsson, Visnovsky, Hamonick,
Giordano, Ekkman-Larson
G: Quick, Thomas, Bryzgalov
Bench: Meuller, Ennis, Jagr, Hamhuis, Ribero, Dubinsky, Little, Fowler, Ellitott, Rask
I'll try to remember next time! I vaguely remember a Keith/Ehrhoff post but not who it was from. Memory is one of the first things to go in the aging process.
I agree with jprosser about trying to trade for a goalie but would use Vanek as my trade chip. His value will never be higher, and I think he would fetch a studlier goalie right now than Gabby would. If you could do it for less than Vanek, great, but I think he's your best sell-high candidate. Or you could do a 2-for-1 with replacements like Richards available.
thanks everyone!
It shouldn't even be a question, Gaborik hands down.
My boy Gaborik will score 40 goals + this year... count on it!!!
