Shanahan And Gomez At a NightClub

Hello,

Just tought i mentioned that Shanahan And Gomez were at a l\'Action SuperClub in Montreal last Night a hot spot for hockey players. I saw then at the Bar. No, they were not drunk or anything they were just hanging there. I saw them leave the club around 00:30

Were they there late? Maybe I need to put some money on Montreal winning the game. :laugh:

In the summer a bunch of my friends were at \'This is London\' nightclub in Toronto and they saw Mike Comrie with Hilary Duff a few months before their relationship was in the media.

not sure if there is curfew or anything on nights before game days but 12:30 am seems pretty late to be out when you play the next day in the early afternoon.

Players are big boys and they can do what they want. Funny story from one of my friends on Wednesday night:

Buddy goes to the Back Alley in Calgary after the game (not exactly what you\'d call a \"classy\" joint) and sees Big Joe. He goes over, chats with him, shakes hands, and tells Joe that he\'s buying him a shot of Jagermeister. Thornton protests, and refuses to take the shot.

My buddy: \"Fine, get one of the rookies to do it!\"

Joe (smiles): \"Bernier!! Get over here!\"

Marleau deserves to be cactus of the year. Every week on J-Status\'s blog he is cactus of the week. LOL.

BTW, very funny story about JoThor. But, thats why he\'s arguably the second best centre in the game - avoids those Jager shots.

Kiprusoff came into my work when I worked at a gas station. I said \"Why hello there Mikka Kiprusoff\" and then talked to him about the loss to Anaheim in the first round. He told me that he didn\'t think the team played well enough in front of him.

Brad Richards at Cowboys (And I saw St Louis there too)
Brad Richards was pretty much a prick to me. More interested in trying to pick up drunk chicks.

Phaneuf at The Den (Campus bar at UofC)
Beginning of the school year this year, talked to him a bit about the season. Cool guy to talk to.

My friend saw Regher at the Backalley and because it was so busy everybody was squished together. The next day she\'s like \"Guess what! I touched Regher\'s ass!\" I was considering going that night too so I was pretty pissed off at myself for not going.

Oh just remembered another story.

My dad is a finishing carpenter and he worked in Iginla\'s neighbour\'s house in Calgary. He saw Iginla and talked to him a number of times and I asked him to take my jersey with him to work and get it signed but he didn\'t want to bother Iggy.

here\'s a good one:

a friend went backpacking to australia during the lockout year... turns out he runs into the regehr brothers and hangs out with them for a week and a half. my friend, who is an angry drunk under the best of circumstances, gets a little too rowdy one evening (morning) and starts chirping at elder regehr. robyn grabs the hat off my pal\'s head, tosses it in the decorative fountain/pool beside them, and says, \"Now what are you gonna do?\"

Boy it must be fun to be an NHL player.
