    Default Getting some FA action

Hi guys, I\'m currently third in my 5 team platoon. We\'ve got our next to last waive coming up, and I was wondering who the best players were in the FA\'s that are left.

I\'m finally giving up on Marleau, and looking to replace him with one of the following:
    1) Morrow : B-A boy trainee
    2) Horcoff: Can he keep it up? Especially with Hemsky probably hurt?
    3) Kovalev: health risk, but has been very consistent so far.
    4) Plekanec: I think is a safe bet the way he\'s been playing. no health issues.
    5) Perry: can he keep it up? I never see Anaheim play.
    6) Kane: slowed down a lot...

Since I\'m picking 3rd, I\'m betting 1 and 2 will probably be gone. So feel free to comment on who would be best between Kovalev, Plekanec and Perry.

Thanks a lot for all the comments so far this season: you\'ve kept me in the race!

    Cheers!

I like Perry here - I think the Ducks will get the O going soon.

    Kovalev or Perry.

Kovalev will get way more PP points
Perry will get twice as many PIMS
Perry will get also get more points from goals, but I think Kovalev will outpoint Perry from here (mainly due to power play time)

So, pick one depending on what hole you need to plug.

Here are the numbers for Kovalev and Perry according to Yahoo! They\'re both pretty close and either one will be a good pick. I don\'t know how Teemu will affect Perry as far as what line he will be on. If Perry continues to be on the top line then I would think he will continue to produce good things for the team.

Thanks a lot, because I\'m a habs fan, and that it\'ll be hard to figure how much ice-time Perry will lose to Selanne, I think I\'ll go with Kovalev. There\'s no one there that can bump him, that\'s for sure.

    Cheers,
