Have you been watching the series? Malkin has looked awesome. The real problem might be MAF letting in 17 goals thru 8 periods.... Pretty hard for Malkin or any of the Pens to counter that.

And calm down Blayze... Just because you feel the need to reply to every post on these forums doesnt mean we all need to be slapped on the wrist if you dont like it.

Malkin's been bad in this series. There's no question about that. Big disappointment.

Malkin showed a bit more fire in game three than he has all series, but nowhere near where his compete level should be. IMO

Wow. Are you serious? Max Talbot has more goals than Malkin and Crosby COMBINED.

I dont agree that he looks horrible out there. I actually think he's looked pretty good. Pretty hard for him to get going when the Pens are constantly short handed but he's still managed 4 pts thru 3 games. He's been physical and hasnt been afraid to do the dirty work in the corners. Fleury letting in 17 on 84 shots has just destroyed them. Pens have scored 12 goals in 3 games, which is usually enough to win in the playoffs. Problem is that Philly has scored 20 in that span. Just a crazy series but I wouldnt say Malkin is to blame for the result.

The problem has been his decision making, as much as anything else. Plus, a very physical series simply is not ideal for his style of play.
