Is Bieksa still alive?

Guy was supposed to miss 6 weeks back in late october n its been bout 3 months?? anyone know anything??

It will be exactly three months since Bieksa suffered a lacerated calf muscle. It should be back in the lineup sometime in February, although there is no timetable for his return at the present time.

He\'s skating for the first time this friday but is at least another 4-6 weeks from the reports out here.

who said he was supposed to miss six weeks? That was not reported anywhere. It was 4-6 months, and he is right on for 4.5 months.

I picked up Bieksa on waivers after a guy in one of my roto leagues dropped him. Like 40 point 130 pen min defensemen are easy to find. We have limited keepers (10 + 2 rookies) and 12 teams. We don\'t have IR, but you think they could have found room for him with one of their 7 bench spots.

I\'ll protect him going into next year. I love those type of D for rotos that value pen mins.

I just heard this morning that Bieksa should be back in 7-10 days according to Vancouver sports station team 1040.
