Or he's slumping...
http://en.khl.ru/players/496/
radulov's stats are way down this year. 14pts in 17g this year compared to 83pts in 54g last year.
it's still early but does this mean he is disgruntled with his situation? (again). does this spell the beginning of the end for rads in the khl?

Back next year for sure, but does anyone know when the KHL season is over? If it ends early, can he join the NHL before the end of this year?

The KHL season does end a month or so earlier than the NHL.
Yes it is possible for Rads to come back and play this year as his contractual commitment will be done for Salavat Ufa.
Will this happen? Doubtful.
Why? Radulov still owes one year on his original entry level contract with the Preds. If he played for 3 weeks or even 1 game that would count as his final years commitment to the Preds. If you were Poile, would you rather have Rads for 6+ months at that ELC low $ or have him be able to rid himself of that year in a few weeks. The only way I can picture that happening is if the Preds have some injuries and are in a play-off spot. Or, that is what they HAVE to do to get Rads to come back. Basically write-off his final ELC year and then pay him what a player of his value (albeit, presumed value as he isn't in the NHL) deserves.
Your guess is as good as mine as he is one of the most irritating players to own ever.

Something is happening with Radulov. This blogger Fang_Finger who follows the Preds just tweeted that he interviewed Jay Grossman, Rinne's and Radulov's agent, and he told him some interesting news on Radulov. It was retweeted by The Predatorial, another Preds blogger. The bad news is this guy is keeping it to himself until 12/17 when his new website launches. My guess is he's probably announcing that he will definitely be back in the NHL next year, but who knows, maybe he's announcing that he'll re-join the Preds after the KHL season is done.
Anyway, not sure if there is anything of real interest in this, but it is certainly intriguing. I dropped Gorges for Radulov just now on the off-chance the news is even bigger.

BTW since the slow start, Radulov notched 21 points in the last 12 games and is now 2nd in the KHL scoring race with 35 points, five behind the lead. He also has a few games less played than his competitors.

Even if he only finishes around a ppg in KHL I wouldn't bump down his value simply because he made that league his biatch last year and given his disputes at the beginning of the season I wouldn't be surprised if he is playing with less motivation than in the past.

Agree completely I have owned Filatov in one pool since he was 16 not only that I got him through a loop hole in the pool and have had to have him on my reserve list and not my farm this entire time. I can't even possibly drop him now because I know for a fact someone would grab the same day just to spite me. He'd be in the lineup the next night and go on to win Art Ross after Art Ross. I hate him!!!

what kind of numbers would he put up in the nhl
thanks
Well over the past three seasons in the KHL, he has posted pretty well over a PPG and PIM / game. Let's not forget that overall, the KHL is a pretty low-scoring league.
For some type of parallel, last season Jagr averaged around a PPG in the KHL, and he's been around a PPG so far this year.
I'm not quite certain about upside here, but it seems to me at least that Radulov could certainly be capable of 70+ with solid PIM totals.
Cheers.
