Anyone aware that Price is getting a call-up soon? I noticed that one site has him projected to start the back end of this weekend\'s B2B.

It\'s in French though, but basically it said that Carbonneau has confident in both Halak and Price and still don\'t know who will be the backup for the rest of the season.

He even said: «If we see that Huet is tired, we won\'t hesitate to go with Halak... or Price.»

The reporter said it will probably come to the number of games Huet will play. If he gets a ton, we probably won\'t see Price again this year...

You will not see Price anytime soon. That is for sure. He has been terrible in his starts in the AHL.

This news isvry interesting.

CBS: Huet is 10-2-2 in his last 14 appearances and Montreal is right behind Ottawa in the Northeast Division. Price, on the other hand, is struggling with Hamilton. He is 4-4-0 with a 3.29 GAA. An injury to Huet or a severe slump appears to be the only cause for recalling Price.

I own Price and am actually happy that he is getting some ice time in the AHL. I believe this is the best for him long term.

After his hiccups at the beginning, Price is playing better in Hamilton. Carbonneau has apparently figured out that Huet doesn\'t like to play with someone breathing down his neck. Hence, unless one of the two goaltenders goes down with an injury or a losing streak, don\'t expect back anytime soon.

He might be brought up, but it\'s now Huet\'s spot to lose. Carbo\'s just gonna play him for as long as he\'s hot, and he\'s just won the third star for the month of january.

As I said, Price stays down...

On the road right now so not at my home computer but I believe the site is www.hockeyinformer.com and you will find a starting goalie section and in that section is a further link to weekly prohjected starts for the week. I don\'t use it much these days but I remember during the stretch drive last year I used it alot to stream goalies because I was scrambling to make up goalie games in a points league and it was pretty helpful. Not super accurate but helpful nonetheless.

just in case you missed it rumor from morrisette in this same forum that halak is going down which would mean price should be coming up.

TSN/RDS is reporting that Halak did get sent back down to the AHL

Pretty ****ing funny that I read that one completely wrong! I guess that was a loss Carbo didn\'t like, coupled with a fuller schedule and a shutout by Price.
