Perry for Jagr

Keeper league with 27 million dollar pre-draft salary cap and 60 million dollar season cap. Should I trade Perry for Jagr.

Why would you consider that? Young producing keeper for old sorta producing keeper. Not sure I understand the thought process here.

I would love too win it this year. Does Jagr not have a whole lot more upside for the rest of this season ?

this season take jagr because with selanne in perry stats will go down a bit, but dont do this trade because perry will be a big scorer in the nhl, it hurt me to even put him in a trade to get hossa

I definitely wouldn\'t do it, this year or any year. Even with Selanee, I think Perry will play with Getz and whoever so he\'ll get more than his share of points. I think at best jagr might have 5-10 point more than him the rest of the way (even though I think Perry will out point him) but in a keeper league no way I\'d do this.

If you want to win it this year, Jagr is your man.

I believe Jagr will out point Perry til either his last year or the year he retires which could be within 3-5 Years.
He is just a better talent. That being said.

Perry will net you more goals in that time frame. And he would be available to reaquire. As long as Jagr is producing he is a top player, because he can make players around him better.

Perry is akin to Nash, but not as good. He will finnish great but not necessarilly make others finnish great.

I may be wrong, but that is how I read it.

Even though it is a keeper, your dealing with quality year over year. Jagr is higher. Perry is depth compared to Jagr, JAgr you build around, right now PErry you don\'t.

My opinion.

Besides Jagr is firing on all cyllinders now, so his production is no longer a worry.

You are in first and you have a promising talent that you can keep for the next 10 years.
This guy has decided it\'s time to turn the clock back and get younger. Get more.
