Their is potential in this trade if the other manager needs a young defence and has a good chance in winning this year. Selanne would basically be a \"rental\" type player just for this season and then your giving him two pretty good keepers. Also depends on how many keepers you get to keep. If the number is low, I highly doubt this trade will get accepted.

In a keeper league upper end potential is gold. Assuming this is Hossa from ATL I wouldn\'t deal him away for this offer. Do you have a seperate playoff pool b/c then this would have more appeal for the other GM?
