Offering Hank Sedin for a goalie
Hey guys,
just wondering if you would offer Hank Sedin straight up for a top goalie. If so, who is he worth? One for one, is he worth a Carey Price or King Henrik? Am i shooting too high or am i offering too much in a one for one deal?
My league is a Dynasty Salary Cap league with the following stat setup.

I guess what i am asking is, if you were the owner with a goalie like Henrik Lundquist or Ryan Miller, would you take that offer?
I have some depth at center, thats why I am considering offering Sedin. I have Crosby waiting to come back, Sedin, Kesler, plus other guys who are multi-position so I have others to move to center too. My goalies are Luongo and Mike Smith so i am thinking of trying to upgrade my goalie position to solidify that #2 spot. I am just worried about giving too much.

Unless you are in dire need of goaltending help I wouldn't do Sedin straight up for any goalie.
If you have no choice I'd only do it for Lundy, Miller, Rinne or Bryz and I would also ask for a sweetener.
Yes, unless you can get a top flight goalie (Miller, Lundy) I don't think you should be unloading a top 5 forward in Henrik. He has another shot at the Art Ross this year.

Thanks for the input guys. I will have to take a look at another option then. I realize in any keeper league, goalies are hard to trade for and you usually end up over paying for a high end starter. Maybe i will use Kesler as bait instead of Hank. See if that can land me a solid starter.
