Does this improve my team? Strong D becomes better C

Hey fellas, need a quick hand here, league details below:

I have an offer on the table of:
His Getzlaf/Setoguchi/Clitsome /3rd Round
for my Yandle/Keith/Connolly/5th Round

I'm weak at C and super strong at D although this leaves me a little weaker than I would like if Zidlicky/Girardi or Clitsome don't pan out.

I would also have to drop Gaustad but that is a non-factor as I only picked him up to replace Connoly on IR. (Note: I would never draft Connoly, I just took this team over).

I don't like the fact that it leaves me with 5 RWs but I'm sure I can move one of Grabner/Seto/Downie.

Without breaking this down into itty-bitty pieces I'm hesitant. I don't mind you dealing a top D for a top F...given your strength and volume of D. I don't even mind you putting a little extra in to get the deal done.

What I don't like is that you're including 2 top D [Yandle/Keith] for essentially 1 top F [Getzlaf]. Don't get me wrong Seto is an upgrade to your RW and Clitsome may turn out to be quite serviceable, but I see you trading more keeper value than you're getting back.

Yandle is arguably top 5 D and Keith [despite his slow start] has to be considered a top 10 D...especially with all cats going. No argument Getzlaf is a top 10 F, but the other parts coming back your way are nowhere near top 10 or even top 20 consideration.

My opinion is if this needs to involve 2 of your top D I'd walk away.

I would say no to this deal unless you get more back in return. It is basically a 2 for 1 deal. As much as I like Getzlaf, he is not worth both Yandle and Keith. I think its a good idea to trade some D for a C, but not this deal. Maybe do a 1 for 1 deal.

Agree with everyone else, this deal would wreck your defense. I would consider it if you were getting an elite goal scorer but not for Getzlaf and Seto.

ya i agree i dont mind u giving up yandle + for getz, but your giving up 2 stud dmen for an elite forward. i would either try and get more than seto back or try to somehow swap somebody else in

Thanks for the input guys, I've decided not to bother. I've been trying to get Getz from this guy in two different keeper leagues forever. Anyway, I guess I will target someone else.
