This question is pertaining to the 2nd team in my sig.
There's a guy in my league who's very high on Hall.
He has offered be BRAD Richards and Cam Ward.
My goalies are pretty shite.
Should I take it?
He also has Tavares, Ott, & Shattenkirk whom I'm interested in.
Players I have that I would be willing to move include Eriksson, Tedenby, Carlson.
Also worth noting that this guy loves picks. He thinks 3rd round picks are the bees knees so If It sounds like I'm winning the trade too much and he might not accept it, I'll just throw in a pick and he'll accept it then.

Hall has huge upside, but you need help in net bad and it certainly doesn't hurt to have brad richards.
If he is as high on Hall as you say I would for sure be trying to add a third player to the trade. I think Tavares is out, as I doubt he would move him. The player I would be targeting for the third player is Shattenkirk. He is young dynamic with a proven ability to score at all levels coming up. Since you are already ahead on this deal imo with just the 2 players I would offer him a second round pick to go with hall and if he wants Hall that badly and loves picks he should jump all over it.Originally Posted by robmyatt

Since he offered BR and CW, it only makes sense to counter offer. You may come out of the deal with another player like Shattenkirk. Besides, this will help you understand what kind of GM you're dealing with for future negotiations. If he turns down your counter, you can always fallback on his deal.

Agreed, don't bite the hand that feeds and accept that obviously ridiculously lopsided offer. For example I was offered Pavel Datsyuk for Bernier/Landeskog. He said he "knew he was being a tad greedy and might be able to add to the Datsyuk side" but told him not to worry about it. Don't let the person think about how bad the offer actually is.

Agreed thats one of those deal you simply accept and don´t look back. You win it with a landslide and there is no reason to jeopardize the outcome of the trade by negotioing. Sure Tavares in would be awesome but heck. Do the trade and talk about Tavares with him later.
