I am thinking along the same lines. I fully expected him to be returned and I hope that he shows some more consistency in the OHL during his second season.

Why couldn't the Blackhawks send Saad down after the Sarnia game this weekend haha

Saad is an animal and will make up for all those teams passing on him especially my Leafs....he is a star in the making in my opinion oh if we only drafted Zack Phillips and Brandon Saad instead of Tyler Biggs and Stuart Percy...

Even the Hawks didn't like him that much (to be considered a future star, which is unlikely). They took Danault who has limited offensive upside before him.

People need to temper your expectations of Saad from the sounds of it. Saad has some decent offensive skills but he is very much still a project. He has top six upside but I think you are lookinging more at a 45-50 point winger (which is good in it's own right)
