To even out the trade I'm thinking of proposing Green + Morrow for his Pietrangelo + Burrows. Seem more even?
I do want to take a shot at winning this year, but I also need to make some moves for the future since a few of my keepers' contracts are expiring this year.

It's only 3 games in, can you not wait a bit before you do that? I'd stay put for awhile and see where your team is at mid season. You may even get a much more substantial return for Green at that point.
