I would stick with Malkin personally
Salary cap league, G,A,STPTS,+/-,PIM. Weekly roster changes having to field 9 forwards. I've been offered Parise and E. Kane for Malkin. I'm very tempted. What do you guys think?
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.

Love Parise, one of the guys I've always wanted to own. But as a Malkin owner, I'd stick with him.

If this is a one year league, then they both present equal risk since they're both coming back from serious knee injuries, and for this year it would be close. Slight edge to Malkin since he's the only option in PIT while he's healthy.
If this is a keeper, then Malkin would be the obvious choice as his upside is a lot higher than Parise. I don't expect either of them to be fully recovered this year so I expect to see both of them have their struggles during the season. This year the salary is about $3mil higher for Malkin, but Parise could end up with a similar salary after this season once he hits open market. Malkin is the safer choice just from a trade value asset if you want to pawn him off later.

Thanks guys. Yes, it is a keeper league. I am tempted because in addition to Parise, I'd be getting E. Kane, who I see becoming a very valuable player in our league as soon as this year, and also because of Malkin's injury concerns. I could use both Parise and E. Kane this year as my 9th forward right now is a rookie (Craig Smith), as I have Cammalleri on IR. And in our league, there are no waivers; we have a mid-season draft and that's all. The only way I can get new players on my team is through trades.
But I do think I'll keep Malkin, as all of you are recommending. I'd be kicking myself if he returns to his old self from '08 and '09. There's a chance he won't because of his knees but it's a chance I'll just live with for now.
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.
I think it is a decent offer for Malkin, but I would hold out for more in return for Malkin. But I would be a bit worried that He didnt play on Sunday night in Edm.

Anytime you have a trade with the names: Crosby, Malkin, Ovechkin, Stamkos.
You want to be the one receiving them, not trading them away. Regardless of the offer. Especially when you are receiving a multi player trade. Mainly because you are going to have to drop someone else to make room for the extra player (Kane). So when you are thinking about making the trade, always include, in your mind, the player you have to drop in the trade.

If it's keeper league I'd stay with Malkin for sure... way too much long-term upside to give up.
In a one year, given Malkin's injury status I would gamble and make that trade.
