At first, I feel like I'm giving up too much considering Thomas' age. I feel like this is the age even Brodeur started to slow down, plus we've been hearing a lot about how Rask is going to snag some more starts from Thomas. The piece I'm having the hardest time parting ways with is Schneider.
At the same time, I feel like this trade could really boost me up into championship contender status.... thoughts?

Yea, and that's what sucks. I know I'm going have to overpay for a goalie but I'd hate to give up Schneider and then see Thomas start dropping off and losing starts this season, screwing my goaltending even more.Originally Posted by Killer67

If your going to overpay for a goalie, I would recommend going after one that is younger than Thomas. One that will help for more than 1 year, 2 years max. You would be giving up subban and your 2 best prospects for a rental.
