Ehrhoff for Yandle or Hossa?
Hey guys,
I was recently offered two separate trades for Ehrhoff from two different owners.
14 Team 22-man H2H Keeper League (Keep 15)
G,A,+/-,PIM,PPP,SHP,GWG,SOG, HITS, W,GAA,SA,SV%,SHO
Dress:
3C,3LW,3RW,1F,5D,2G,5BN,3IR
C - Taveres, Connoly, Stoll, McDonald (LW)
LW - Marleau (C), Booth, Whitney, Ruutu
RW - Callahan, Grabner, Downie, Alfredsson
D - Letang, Keith, Ehrhoff, Enstrom, Girardi, Zidlicky
G - Luongo, Schneider, Quick, Dekanich
First offer:
Yandle (5th round pick) for Ehrhoff (3rd round pick)
I like this, but countered with 4th rounder instead of 5th just to see. I think Yandle has far more trade value than Ehrhoff so I'm hoping I can flip him for a C.
Second offer:
Hossa for Ehrhoff straight up. I think this is an upgrade as Hossa is going to be a lot more rested this year and Ehrhoff is a sell high. But I really don't feel I need the RW help and I think Ehrhoff (or Yandle) could net me a better return than any of my RWs would.
Ideally I'm trying to target a good C like Eric Staal or Thornton but not having much luck. I figure Yandle could land me that but I want to know if you guys think I'm foolish for not taking the Hossa trade right away.
Without me, it's only "aweso".
