MY: Thornton, Clowe, Niemi FOR: Krejci, Bourque, Lundqvist
To me as much as getting Lundy and Krejci is cool I'm not sure I like giving up Clowe here. Lundy>Niemi and Thornton>Krejci which works for me, give and get.
I offered a trade taking out Clowe and Bourque but he's insistent on Clowe being in the deal. Some of his notables include: Heatley, Weber, Ribeiro, Visnovsky, Phaneuf.
Clowe is a really solid multi-cat player with PIM and HIT as categories I don't think I can do it. Am I crazy?

its a tough call thats for sure you are not crazy
but personally i view lundqvist as an ovechkin/crosby equivalent if you can get them in a limited keeper there is almost no price too high
I like this for you.
You get argueably the most valued goalie in fantasy/real hockey.
yiou swap Thorton who's maturing for a younger underated Krejci and you swap Clowe for Bourqe.That would be the weak link.However Bourque may prove to be as valuable as Clowe.

After seeing your team in the sig. and your cats , I'd look at the #'s/do you homework 1st.
You only keep 4 and have a couple decent backups so I may have to retrack my previous advice.
Bernier isn't far from being the starter inL.A. , so his value could sky rocket by next season when you have to protect your.

The chance of getting Lundqvist and having the Lundy/Luo tandem would be awesome. Your goaltending would own the 5 goalie stats the whole year.
However you might be selling low on Thornton as he could return to +90pts in any given year. I also like the 1-2-3 punch of Backes, Clowe, and Clutterbuck as they would help you win alot of peripheral cats. Removing Clowe will weaken this a fair bit. In short, stick with a more bablanced approach and stick with what you have.
yeah i dont like the clowe for bourque swap part of the trade but i still might do it knowing its a limited keeper and you could secure two top goalies long term locking up those categories and allowing you to poach all the top fwds in the drafts while goalie runs are going on in the early rounds.
i would try and upgrade bourque to make the deal happen though.

The new offer is Hornqvist instead of Bourque. They're basically on the same level as far as I'm concerned and Bourque has LW/RW. Having Lundy/Luongo could be pretty dangerous but I'm flip flopping about whether to do it or not.

Finally pulled the trigger on this deal. The other GM wanted to wait until Niemi was cleared to play. Krejci is now injured but what can you do? I'm in last place in this league after week 1 so why not shake things up? New league, new experience, shaking it up. Oh and I now have Luongo/Lundy. Gonna be exploring Price, Miller and others for Luongo. I'm not loyal to Luongo at all, just a name to me, never been a huge fan.
