There are two leagues available to be joined - not sure how those leagues got up & running. I haven't been able to renew my commish'ed league.

We've found a backdoor into Yahoo before it's actually open, that's why the leagues don't work. They haven't announced it on the front page they are just going through a test run but because we are such fanatics we've gone to Hockey '10 and found a backdoor into the 2011 leagues before they're open. Patience is a virtue.

I sort of accidently found the league renewal when I was trying to link to the summer archived version of the league. It allowed me to renew, set a draft date, and invite returning managers. So far 5/15 managers have been able to join with no issues, and I haven't had an issue myself yet.
It is imperative that you write down your exact steps
