in a one year points league, who would you take for the rest of the year (goals and assists worth 1 each)

    nik zherdev
    scott hartnell
    dustin brown
    derek roy
    brian gionta
    pm bouchard
    jp dumont
    mike fisher

im leaning toward brown, but just wanted to check with the experts. thanks guys

I would probably take Brown at 1st blush he plays in a beter system for points, but Roy could be the wildcard here he is poised for a breakout, might just happen next year though. And PM Boucard might not be the sexy pick but he is geting consitent points in Minny too. another guy who flys undert he radar is Dumont in Nashville he gets good point totals too

here are their breakdoens last 10 games

    Zerdev 5-2-7

Hartnell 10-4 including 2 hat tricks but only has 15 goals so far so this is an extreme blip probably (or is it)?

    Brown 8-1

    Bouchard 2-7

Dumont 7-8 broke sullivan 11 game point scoring streak in Nash

    Roy 3-2

fischer and Gionta are not even worth the risk here
I really like Dumont or Roy with Brown who scores alot of goals but not as many assists being the 3rd option here
14 team keeper league (keep 15 plus 3 prospects)
    19 active, 8 bench, 2 prospects less than 40 NHL games. Play h2h with postions 3c, 3lw, 3rw, (3 felx forwards) 5d, 2g

    C-E.Stall, Plekanac,Thorton, Turris, Little
    LW_Elias, Heatley (RW), Pacioretty
    RW-Erat
    D-Keith, Yandle, OEL, Giordano
    G- Rinne, Nabakov

    (Farm) Beau Bennett, Jaden Schwartz

    Agreed.

I would keep an eye on Hartnell though, and if you can afford to due so pick him up and ride out the hot streak. Then pick up one of Brown or Zherdev.

I wouldn\'t take any one of these guys for the rest of the year if they are sitting on FA I would play the hot hand streaming. Look at schedules for the next 5 games and pick the guy who has the best one.

    Beware the Royster.

Hartnell is makin noise but I like Zherdev.
