Contract Years Cap League Teams Available
Well, a commish's worst nightmare. Coming up on September and we've gone from probably losing one GM to definitely losing two. Yuck.
We have a really unique setup which provides a near full keeper for some teams during certain seasons and almost a total redraft in others. We call it a contract years cap league. You get 45 years of contracts for your team each year. A player's years remaining on his contract is the cap hit for the player (against that 45 year cap). Contracts carry over in trades and from year to year (one year less obviously). You get one re-sign of an expiring contract every other season. We have a 12 player farm team, players on the farm receive entry-level contracts of up to 3 years that don't count against the cap. Farm players can be called up for injured pro players, but otherwise to play they must be signed to pro deals. There are some other details, but that's a good summary.
This year's draft is going to be a pretty good one, some nice expiring contracts.

If you've never played H2H Points in fantasy hockey, its a lot of fun.
The league is currently $52. Most in the league want to go up to $102 because of the depth of the league/detail of the format, but if we add three new GMs that may not be feasible this year.

Team is in lottery for top pick, would pick 1-4 (non-snake draft). Team receives a re-sign next year, used its previous one (Vokoun).
This team is fairly solid, playoff caliber roster. Fairly neglected farm, would be fun for someone who would enjoy revamping the farm.

This team is nice, unbelievable that its picking 1/2 for the second year in a row and has Seguin on the farm, but this participant has consistently failed to be active enough to ice a competitive team. Could go from lottery to contender in as quick as one offseason possibly.
Would love to add some experienced fantasy hockey GMs!
