Default Goalies for One Year League

I have a ton of draft picks at the top of the board this year due to trading away my season last year. Our league allows for a maximum of five goalies on a team with three starting per day. I'm thinking I might be able to grab all five of my goalies (at least four of them) out of the top ten goalies. I have listed below my personal top ten. Any advise our changes you might make would be greatly appreciated.

League is eight team with goalie stats being wins (5 points), saves (0.2 points), goals allowed (-1 point), shutouts (3 points), OT losses (2 points).

    Thanks for the input...

    Lundqvist
    Miller
    Price
    Bryzgalov
Ward (all Canes fans league so if I want him, I'll have to reach a little bit)
    Fleury
    Brodeur
    Rinne
    Voukon
    Luongo

(Next five being Quick, Thomas, Crawford, Roloson, Niemi)

Thomas had a ridiculous year last year. I just truly have a tough time trusting it will happen again. He's got Rask behind him and, though I could see moving him into the top 10, I can't see a top 3 ranking. Maybe more will disagree with me and change my mind...

For next year only, I'd rank them this way:

    Lundqvist
    Miller
    Price
    Thomas
    Luongo
    Bryzgalov
    Ward
    Rinne
    Fleury
    Quick
    Vokoun
    Niemi
    Brodeur
    Crawford
    12 team, H2H, salary cap
    1 pt/G or A, 2 pts/W, 1 pt/OTL, 1 pt/SO

    Forward: B. Point, M. Necas, A. Debrincat, T. Zegras, J. Bratt, L. Raymond
    Defense: J. Morrissey, A. DeAngelo, S. Gostisbehere, D. Doughty
    Goalie: T. Demko, E. Merzlikins
    Bench: M. Rossi, C. Glass, M. Maccelli, M. Dumba, K. Shattenkirk, F. Andersen
Prospects of Note: L. Stankoven, J. Lekkerimaki, D. Yurov, B. Clarke

League has been running continuously since 1997-98

In a one year league most of these guys will be solid...it really comes down to personal preference IMO since its like impossible to try to predict what kind of numbers each goalie will pull out. They are all going to be close enough to not make it have that much of a difference.

Only thing I will say though is I think Brodeur goes on the bottom of the list for me. I like him to bounce back but not over teh likes of Luongo Vokoun and Rinne.

I would also have Quick and Thomas pretty high up there too.

I'm looking at wins, SOs, GAA and SV% but in trying to put together some tiers for goalies I think I've settled on a top tier of (in no particular order):

    Lundqvist
    Miller
    Thomas
    Price
    Luongo
    Bryzgalov
    Rinne
    Quick

So in a multi-cat format these are the guys I like more than the rest. With your stats I would also favour guys like Fleury, Howard, etc who will probably put up wins even if their peripherals are less good.
20 team H2H keeper. Keep 10. Now drafting...

    I'm confused...those are all equal 1pt apiece?
you're new here I see, a good tip is to put all your league details in your signature so that it gets appended to every post, then we don't have to guess or keep asking for clarification...to set it:

-click User CP link (top left)
-on the left hand side you'll see a buncha links, under Settings & Options you'll see one called 'Edit Signature', click that and add your team and league to that

    cheers

Any more thoughts on this? Goalies are gold in my league (every goalie who played 60 games plus Thomas outscored the highest scoring skater last year). I royally screwed up last year and ended up with Howard, Mason, Rask, Bernier, and Turco. Needless to say, I did not do well last year and want to knock it out of the park this year.

I've adjusted my rankings based upon more guides having come my way and some of my own re-adjustments of thought...

    Lundqvist
    Ward
    Rinne
    Price
    Luongo
    Bryzgalov
    Miller
    Thomas
    Fleury
    Niemi
8 teams, H2H daily start league
    Keep 5, max 1 goalie

    Skaters - G (3 pts), A (2), PPG (1), PPA (0.5), SHG (2), SHA (1), GWG (2), HT (5), PIM (0.3), Hits (0.1), BS (0.2)
    Goalies - W (5), OTL (2), GA (-1), SV (0.2), SO (3)

F (17, Start 12): Ovechkin, Tavares, Seguin, McDavid, Couture, Toffoli, Landeskog, MacKinnon, Scheifele, Schenn, Stepan, Voracek, Wheeler, Fabri, E. Kane, Galchenyuk, Barkov, Stastny, Spezza (IR), Sheary (IR)
D (5, Start 4): Giordano, Schultz, Markov, Phaneuf, Shattenkirk
    G (3, Start 2): Holtby, Lundqvist, Johnson
