Back to the good old daysd huh?
Theo made an impressions many expected him to make throughout the season the offense was non existent and the D refused to care as well.

Sole light and the end of the tunnel was Guds goal here.

    A game to forget about.

Sorry mate just saw it too late.

I´m not sure if this might not be struggeling time for my Panthers they haven´t looked that good the last 3 nights.

I might keep Theo out for this week and see whats happens first.

    On the game:
Keaton Ellerby is clearly outplaying Gudbranson in my eyes and needs the nod.

Santorelli has played really great after being a healthy scratch the night before.

What i really like is what the second line is doing with Matthias at C, he has really stepped us his game.

Steeg with two goals again but the rest was pretty meh.

Seems like the Panthers only can win if line one shows up in a monster way.

Isn't this what's been happening all season? Granted, that top line has showed up in a monster way most nights.

They´ve also shown to win some games simply on great defense and goalie efforts so far. But yeah the majority goes to the lunch line. I´m kinda pessimistic at the moment.

    Hey key,

Could you give some report on Shawn Matthias' play this year. Seems to be appearing on the scoreboard pretty frequently lately and providing some much needed secondary scoring for your Panthers. Has he taken over the #2 C spot behind Weiss? Do you see him showing flashes of developing a long-term #2 C who can put up 40-55 points per season?

    Thanks.

Hey Carcillo got good news for you. Actually Matthias is the player that suprised me the most so far he is finally showing flashes why he was considered a great prospect. I never was a big fan of him mainly cause i didn´t like his work ethic, but in the last games ( 15) that has changed he works his ass of and finally cares. If he continues that play he will end up as a decent to below average 2nd center (maybe think of a Dave Bolland type).

    best wishes

Panthers continue to unimpress me but win regardless.

Big hugs to Jose for christmas for that effort.

Best players all night were Shawn Matthias who deserve some wingers, Kris Versteeg who´s effort is close to no none and Sean Bergenheim.

Bergenheim who scored 3 in the last two left the game injured in the first period.

Lots and lots of injuries Panthers need some guys back soon, Rallo was the callup and well he played a whopping 3 minutes.

Opposite of the last game the Panthers finally played a good game again but lost due to too many minor penalties taken.

First line looked good besides not scoring should get on a roll again soon if they continue that play.

Not much to talk about with that low scoring game.

Sturm and Samuelsson out as well as the P´s have been injury riddled latley.

I see a trade brewing for some secondary scoring still.

He looked brutal the first three games but good the last two. Problem is he needs Stephen Weiss not the other way arround. So the injury is not good news.

The Panthers are playing with 2 line of NHlérs and a 4th line right now with 9 players out already. Now Stephen Weiss is added to list of misses. Somehow they are still playing decent.

On a side not: Grab Shawn Matthias while you can, and it might be the only time i say this it´s time to buy ultra low Michael Repik for a 3rd round pick or something and see if he can continue his play.

Nah mate can´t blame it on Theo. The Panthers are playing without 9 forwards now so bascially it´s 4 NHL forwards active remaining. They just injury buck biten. Bench him and wait it out. Goc f.e. should be back soon and the moment 4-5 of those guys come back the Panthers will play some hockey again.

The Panthers finally win a game again despite playing with an AHL lineup.

Erik Gudbranson has stepped up his game his last 10 game he is coming into is own and plays a lot more punishing he also added a goal.

Michael Repik was highly involved into two goals and had a great night.

Theo played like the Theo of early this season and Flash finally scored again.

Mr. Consistent Kris Versteeg also added a goal.
