Default is my roster too focused

please take a look at the team in my sig. and tell me if I have too many players from too few teams.

    3 Islanders
    4 Caps
2 Stars (plan on adding a third, Ott, at the draft)
    3 Habs
3 Canucks (2 are the goalies, so not really a concern)

I'm worried I'm not spread out enough for a H2H pool. Sure, some weeks I will destroy, but others, I'll just stink, won't I?

I think its okay considering the players that you have, its not like you have scrub players from each team you have a lot of their elite guys (especially on the back-end). Stacking teams in this fashion isn't that much fo a problem since you're a weekly start league. If this was a daily start league it would be absolutely brutal to try to make your roster work.

That being said I think if an opportunity comes along where you can deal some of these guys off for good value with guys on other teams I would do so.

the worst is 2 players on the same team in the same position.

considering its just F and not LW, C and RW... it shouldn't be that much of a problem. however there will be weeks where you have little games played... the most important is during the playoffs though.

Forgot about the playoffs! has anyone on here broken down the NHL schedule for fantasy pools yet?

    Yes. Two guys.

This thread has a same night tool that's really easy to use, and a super in-depth excel sheet that plays with projections and schedule. I haven't had to the time to mess around with the second, but I'm looking forward to it.

I wouldn't bother sacrificing talent just to spread around the teams. It might be convenient in terms of scheduling but I still think the key to winning is to have the best players.

I checked the 4 playoff weeks, none of my current roster has any week with less than 3 gp, so that's not a concern.

Having your players spread out in H2H is key to winning, 3 on a team is not bad though. 4 is a little on the line but like someone mentioned, they are top end and diff positions so I think your doing fine.
