g brule
i own him in a keeper pool and have him signed for the next 4 years. i see him doing much better in 08-09 and really bringing his game up in 09-10.
it might seem like his move to the AHL is a bad thing on the surface but i was happy to see him go there. he\'s going to have a lot more playing time and is going to gain back a lot of lost confidence. he\'s had a tough run so far with major injuries earlier in his career and riding in the backseat in columbus (more like the trunk). my guess is he finds his game big time from where he is at now and steadily works his way up to where his skill level was originally expected to take him. he now has had more than a taste of what it takes to be in the show (under hitchcock as well) and this knowledge and experience is extremely valuable.
thats my (optimistic!) take on it.
