Wow you were busy but looks like the payoff might be worth it. When you started all those trades was it your intention of trying to land a 1st rounder or did that just fall into place.

I dont think you could pass up D. Sedin there, and taking Miller with the second pick sets you up solid with two difficult positions filled.

I guess the name Made in Kariya is to deflect the ribbing onto the team name than on the picks?

PS: Chris I think you made a great move moving up. I would kill to have Malkin and Lundqvist as my first two picks right now. Forget Neiderreiter lol.

My team in the draft is the Madison Square Doghouse. Was planning to grab an elite goalie at 7. to start with but I couldn't pass on Perry with these scoring categories. He was actually by far the most valuable player in the league last year with those categories according to my hockeypoolgeek parse.

2. round I was really torn on who to pick as the goalie pick rush had already started, but there are/were pretty amazing FWD and D options available. Ended up going with Doughty.

Also very pleased with my prospect draft as I was picking without a first rounder. Traded it away for 2012 first round prospect pick + extras. Here's how the farm turned out:

Tarasenko, Ryan Ellis, Jake Allen, Kevin Poulin, Nick Bjugstad,
Sven Bartschi

In order of picks. Tarasenko fell all the way to 18. which was a heck of a suprise to me.

My team is Made in Kariya. I had a game plan going into the draft considering where I was but then D.Sedin fell to me...I was completely flabbergasted and caught off guard.

Anyways now that I've identified myself...I'm sure dyz and TK have bookmarked this thread and are going to check every day just to see if there's a pick that I make that they can rip on...I'm sure Loch will chime in with one of his one-liners every now and again haha.

PS: Don't know why I picked Made in Kariya as my name. I don't even like Kariya that much lol...dunno what I was on at the time.

1) Your team name is garbage.

2) Why didn't you put on autodraft?
