luongo is the man here for you.
What are you scoring cats? Because that wins/so only vs. gaa sv% w so etc. is a huge difference.
But under most leagues:
Lundqvist - Best goalie in the league. Have no idea how he's not taken.
Luongo - Tons of wins, good SV%, great team
Rinne - One of the best in the league. Should get you everything but a lot of wins.
1. Rinne: Rinne and Luongo are close but I'd give the edge to Rinne because he's the better goalie and he doesn't have a young stud like Schneider breathing down his neck for playing time.Originally Posted by BIGBADCATS
2. Luongo: As I said, I thought the Canucks should have traded Luongo and kept Schneider. In limited games Schneider's numbers were incredible and he should push Luongo for playing time. Expect very good numbers, but I think Rinne is going to top him.
3. Niemi: Niemi was very underrated going into last season and he's really impressed me with his play. Everyone assumed Niittymaki was the starting goalie but Niemi put up amazing numbers last year once he stole the job away. He's very close to Luongo and playing for the Sharks will help his numbers.
EDIT: Wait, is Lundqvist taken? Take him or Rinne if he's still available.

How is no one saying Lundqvist when it's pretty much unanimous that he's the best goalie in the league? :S
Yep Lundy is and should be at the top of the list. Where is he? Take him

especially on an improved ranger team.
if for some reason he is taken then i would go with Rinne, Luongo, Niemi/Halak. You cant take Rask as your first goalie.

And no, Luongo is not old... Roloson is old. Luongo is NOT old.
And Rask shouldn't even be in the discussion with the elite starters out there right now IMO.

Lundqvist and Luongo would be my choices. Lundy is simply the best goalie in the league, and Luongo isn't far behind. Rinne is also a good pick, but I think Luocho should give you more wins on a year to year basis.
